The Caterpillar D11T crawler tractor was introduced in 2006 as the replacement for the D11R. It was manufactured in the USA only.

The D11T has a C32 advanced combustion emissions reduction technology (ACERT) engine producing 850 flywheel horsepower (FWHP). It comes standard with an air-to-air after cooler (ATAAC), advanced modular cooling system (AMOCS) radiator, torque divider, T-series cab, fingertip control (FTC) steering, and three speeds forward, three reverse powershift transmission.

It is available as a standard dozer or carry dozer unit.

The standard dozer D11T has 28-inch (71-cm) shoes and is equipped with universal (U) and straight-universal (SU) dozer blades. It has a GEB serial number prefix.

The carry dozer D11T has 36-inch (91-cm) shoes. It has a TPB prefix.
